Stellar Phoenix JPEG Repair offers a simple solution to repair photos and JPEG/JPG image files. You can use it with files stored on your computer, memory cards, or other storage devices.
The program has a modern and attractive appearance, displaying large and nicely-colored buttons. The interface is very intuitive, so that you won't find any hurdle to use this tool. There are not any complicated settings to apply prior to enabling the repairing process. All you need to do is import the corrupted image files – by browsing from within the application – and press the green Repair button. You are able to add multiple files at once, but you can't load an entire folder of files or use the convenient drag-and-drop method.

Once the files are added into the input panel, you can temporarily exclude some items from the repairing process by deselecting them one by one, or you can remove images permanently from the list. At the moment the repairing process is enabled, you have the chance to monitor its progress due to two bars placed at the bottom of the list. When the repair is completed, you have the ability to preview the resulting files.

In addition, you get general information about each repaired file, such as the type, the size, and the dimensions of each photo. The next logical step is to save the results at a computer location of your choice.

With a straightforward approach, this application is designed to repair damaged or corrupted JPEG/JPG image files. The fact that it allows you to process multiple files at once makes it valuable.

Guest That program was the closest of them all to repair my lost sprites. Too bad: this thing costs money, I would love to see it actually doing something. Profit kills it, and that's why there are only 1093 users of this program.

Guest The program doesn't do anything unless you pay for it.
